Partner Catherine Brennan provides guest blog for PerformLine
On June 3, PerformLine published Partner Catherine Brennan's blog post on how innovations in FinTech and RegTech can affect compliance. Catherine recently moderated the panel, "Business Lending: Partnerships that Work," at PerformLine's Comply 2019, an annual FinTech and RegTech compliance conference which brought together regulators, compliance and risk professionals, sales and marketing leaders, investors and legal experts.
In the blog post, Catherine outlines some of the cutting-edge technologies that can innovate the way in which financial services products are delivered to consumers and commercial borrowers, as well as how these technologies can help manage compliance. FinTech product innovations such as digital-only lending, blockchain, artificial intelligence and biometric technology can help make life easier for lenders and other companies to deliver financial products.
Catherine assists national and state banks, investment banks, consumer and commercial finance companies, mortgage bankers, installment lenders and other licensed lenders in the development and maintenance of nationwide consumer and commercial lending programs. She engages in credit due diligence on behalf of investors in fintech firms, bank partnership platforms, small business lenders, merchant cash advance companies, consumer finance companies, title loan companies and payday lenders.
